Camp Tamok - Full Day Package

Spend a whole day at Camp Tamok by creating your own combination of activities with this Full Day Package.
Join us from the city center of Tromsø on a 90-minute scenic bus drive to Camp Tamok, located in the beautiful Tamok Valley.
Upon arrival, we will provide you with warm winter clothing, boots and the necessary gear before you head off on your daytime activity. Choose between:
- Dog Sledding Daytime
- Snowmobiling Daytime
- Reindeer Sledding Daytime
After this daytime activity and before starting your evening activity, there will be some time in between: “Camp Stay”, During this time you can enjoy all facilities at the camp freely. From the 20th of December the Camp Stay you will have the choice to include a guided tour to Tromsø Ice Domes (located next to Camp Tamok).
After this free period of approximately 4 hours, we will begin the preparations for your next adventure.
Choose between:
- Snowmobiling Evening
- Reindeersledding Evening
- Northern Lights Visit
When returning to Camp Tamok after your evening activity, there will be some time to relax and warm up as we are serving dinner around the open fire in a reindeer herder’s tent. After dinner, your full day at Camp Tamok has come to an end, and it is time to head back by bus to Tromsø city center.
What to know in advance:
- Please read the descriptions of each tour for more specific practical information before booking the package: availability, what is included in each tour, restrictions and minimum age for children
- Certain tours have a different start date of the season, for example Snowmobiling Daytime/Evening. Some activities might therefore not be an option to choose when booking this Full Day Package.
Food and beverages:
After both tours, we will serve a complimentary traditional Norwegian soup/stew. The main ingredients are vegetables with meat or fish.
Included in the tour:
- Transfer by bus from and back to Tromsø city
- English-speaking guide(s)
- Food and beverages
- Winter overall suit, boots, mittens, hat
- All necessary gear (depending on the chosen activity)
What to bring:
We recommend dressing in warm winter clothing and in layers so you can adjust your clothing to the weather. We recommend bringing a scarf in cold weather.
