Tamok _ Cabin Overnight Package with Ice Domes Visit

Enjoy creating your Arctic experience at Camp Tamok. Tailor-make your own overnight program by selecting your activities and preferred accommodation. Select from snowmobiling, reindeer sledding, snowshoeing and a northern lights tour combined with a visit to Tromsø Ice Domes.
Join us at Tromsø city center for a 90-minute bus drive to Camp Tamok, located in the beautiful Tamok Valley. Camp Tamok has been exclusively built as a wilderness camp with a balance of authenticity and comfort. At the camp you will find traditional and rustic Northern Norwegian buildings: several lavvus, timber cabins and Arctic glamping tents, shower and toilet facilities, as well as husky kennel and reindeer camp.
Upon arrival, we will provide you with warm winter clothing, boots and gear before you head off on your evening activity.

After the evening activity, there will be time to relax and warm up inside as we will serve dinner around the open fire in a reindeer herder’s tent, at the camp. You will then be shown to your accommodation for the night.

The next morning starts with a traditional Norwegian breakfast followed by the daytime activity of your choice.

- Snowshoeing with Ice Domes Visit
After the activity, we will serve lunch and your adventures will continue with a guided tour of the Ice Domes. As part of this combination tour, there will be some free time to walk around by yourself and visit the reindeer that are herding next to the Ice Domes. Eventually, your daytime adventure has come to an end and it will be time to board the bus back to Tromsø city center.
What to know in advance
- Please read the descriptions of each activity for more specific practical information before booking the package: availability, what is included in each activity, restrictions and minimum age for children.
- Certain activities have different season start dates, therefore may not be available to choose as a part of this Overnight Package when making the booking.
- We maintain a temperature of minus 5 ˚C inside Tromsø Ice Domes: we advise dressing warm and in layers.
- There are 5-6 reindeer near the camp.

Food and beverages
- Evening meal: Complimentary traditional Norwegian soup/stew (vegetables with meat or fish).

- At the Ice Domes you'll be served a non-alcoholic complimentary welcome drink made from local berries
- Coffee, tea and water will be available throughout the whole stay.
Dietary requirements
- Please advise us during your booking of any food allergies or dietary restrictions.
- If no notice is given in advance, an extra fee of 150 NOK will be charged.
We recommend:
- Dressing in warm winter clothing and in layers so you can adjust your clothing to the weather.
- Bringing a scarf in cold weather.
